Third partners' meeting

The third meeting took place on 6 July 2023 in Kilkis (Greece). Andrea Anzanello presented the project and the activities to be carried out. The meeting was an opportunity to review the next activities regarding the PR2 - CUT Guidelines in order to finalise the output.
During the meeting, the templates of the PR3 – CUT Lessons Learned and Policy Recommendations were presented.
After the meeting the partnership had in mind the future activities to be carried out.

Videos with parents section

The section hosting the videos with parents produced by AIDD, with the support of the information collected by partners in the Focus Groups, was uploaded and made public on the project portal. End-users can now watch short videos where parents present the issue of alcohol in their school from their point of view.

Training of Trainers in Milan

The Training of Trainers took place from 19 to 24 February 2023 in Milan., organised by AIDD, a partner of the CUT project.
The Training was a great experience where teachers were presented with the Educational Path of the CUT Guide, the core of the second Result of the project. Teachers had the possibility to learn new activities to be carried out in class aiming at helping pupils with the theme of alcohol.

Educational Path

AIDD developed the Educational Path which is the core of the second project result, that consists of a Practical Guide addressed to teachers dealing with pupils.
The Educational Path is a short guide containing activities and examples helping teachers to address the issue of alcohol in class and with parents in order to avoid it or deal with it.

Video with students section

Short-term exchange of groups pupils in Milan

The short-term exchange of pupils took place from 7 to 11 November 2022 at I.C. Scialoia in Milan. During the week, groups of students and their teachers from Romania and Poland were welcomed to the Scialoia school where they participated with Italian students in workshops on the issue of alcohol abuse among pre-adolescents led by a psychologist. In the workshops they watched the videos produced by AIDD, shared their ideas and carried out activities on the topic. The exchange was an opportunity to further raise the students' awareness of the topic of alcohol abuse, as they were able to learn new information, reflect on its causes and consequences and share their experiences.

Second partners' meeting

The second meeting took place on 6 – 7 October 2022. Andrea Anzanello presented the project and the activities to be carried out. The meeting was an opportunity to review and discuss the Focus Groups carried out by the partners and the results obtained that will be shown in the videos AIDD is now finalising.
During the meeting, the templates of the PR2 – CUT Guide were presented to the partners.
After the meeting, the partnership had in mind the future activities to be carried out.

Organisation of the Training Activity in Milan

In September, AIDD and Scialoia, the Italian partners in charge of the exchange for pupils, met to finalise the organisation of the training.
The exchange will take place in Milan in November and the schools' partners in the project will participate with pupils and teachers from their institutions.

Organisation of the Focus Groups with parents

Partners are now working to organise several focus groups with parents. The aim of these focus groups is to gain information from parents regarding the topic of alcohol abuse in young pupils. At the end, project partners will produce 6 video-pills.

Video for pupils

AIDD, as the scientific expert of the CUT Project, is now reviewing the material of the different focus groups carried out with children.
The final result will be 3 videos pills related to 3 specific topics related to the issue of alcool abuse among young students.

Conference in Buccinasco (Milan)

Franco Crippa, from AIDD Association, the partner expert of the CUT! project, presented the Erasmus Project "CUT".
The event involved 150 people with the aim to raise awareness on the topic of alcoholism in young people support from the group of participants Involvement as project partners.

Focus Groups with Students

Project partners are now carrying out several Focus Groups with the students of the involved schools to collect information on situations that include alcohol abuse at school. The results of the Focus Groups will be used to record 3 videos targeting students.

Dissemination of the CUT! project in Poland

During a multiplier event of Erasmus+ project "Tiramisu", Mr. Paśnikowski presented the up-to-date information about the project, discussed the intellectual outputs that will be created and encouraged the teachers to join the project.


01-02-2022

Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-off meeting was held from 31 January - to 1 February 2022. Jessica Colombo and Andrea Anzanello presented the project and the activities to be carried out. The meeting was also an opportunity for the partners to know each other and discuss all details related to the next project's activities. At the end of the meeting, all the partners had a clear view of the future project's implementation and the next activity which is the organisation of the Focus Groups for pre-adolescents and the related videos.

CUT! Project

The CUT project is funded by the European Commission through the Polish National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme, with the aim of limit the use and abuse of alcohol among pre-adolescents and adolescents by focusing on prevention and awareness.
